James Hall

James Hall, PhD, has a multidisciplinary background with more than 20 years of experience in life science research, including conception, design, and delivery of technical and commercialization solutions for vaccines, therapeutics, and drug/device combinations. Over the course of his career, Dr. Hall has successfully led R&D and partnership efforts, leading teams large and small for a range of small to mid-size biotech firms. He served as a Senior Director at Eli Lilly and Company leading strategic R&D pipeline growth. Dr. Hall received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from University of California Los Angeles, and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Cellular Biology from Columbia University.

Daniel Lewis

Daniel Lewis, MBA, is a seasoned venture capitalist who has spent more than 10 years working in Silicon Valley as a Managing Director. His investment areas include data analytics, biopharma and medical technology. He has worked on three IPOs and over ten major acquisitions by various technology and biomedical companies. Daniel is passionate about helping entrepreneurs to rapidly scale their companies and drive sustainable growth. Daniel holds a bachelor’s degree in business from The University of California Berkeley, and an MBA from Stanford University.

David Phillips

David Phillips, PhD, has over 20 years of experience in clinical microbiology, immunology and vaccinology. As a resident in medicine and clinical microbiology in Atlanta, Georgia, he was involved in the diagnosis and management of bacterial infections and sepsis and in studying the emergence and dissemination of antibiotic resistance. He has recently served as a member of the department of clinical microbiology at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and as a Lecturer in Medicine at Harvard Medical School.

Erica Edmonds

Erica Edmonds, Ph.D., is a seasoned operational leader with more than 20 years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams to execute research & development, testing & evaluation, preclinical, and clinical support studies in multiple subject areas. Dr. Edmonds worked as an Associate Director of technical operations at Northwestern Memorial Hospital for 5 years, following a 7-year tenure as a Research Leader and Operations Manager at Battelle Memorial Institute. Dr. Edmonds holds a doctorate in biochemistry from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

Christine Bentley

Christine Bentley, M.D., studied medicine at the University of Edinburgh and completed specialist training in pediatrics at the University Children’s Hospital in Glasgow. During a research stay at Harvard’s Channing Laboratory her research interests focused on the vaccination potential of peptidoglycans of gram-positive bacteria. During the past 10 years she has worked as an Assistant Professor at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, in addition to working in private practice.  Her current research interests are hospital-acquired infections, antibiotic resistance, and the creation of therapeutic vaccines to treat persistent infections.
